Playground Repairs

We wanted to let you know that Wakefield Recreation was out at the Community last week to conduct repairs on the Brickhope playground. As you may know, two pickets had been kicked out on the train and graffiti was everywhere on the plastic and wood. Wakefield Recreation sanded and sealed the structures to remove the graffiti on the wood. They also used a product called Graffiti X and they were successful with removing the permanent marker writing on the plastic. As always, if you ever happen to see suspicious activity at the playground or if you witness any vandalism, please contact the police immediately.

Upcoming Playground Maintenance

This Thursday Wakefield Recreation will be out at the Community to conduct repairs on the Brickhope playground. As you may have noticed, two pickets have been kicked out on the train and graffiti is everywhere on the plastic and wood.


We spoke with Wakefield Recreation and they can sand and seal the structures again to remove the graffiti on the wood. Also, there is a product called Graffiti X that they have been successful with removing spray paint from plastics before, but they are not 100% sure if it will work on the permanent markers on the plastic. They are going to give it their best and do everything that they can, but they may not be able to get it all. That being said, sanding and sealing everything will take two days, so we wanted to make all owners aware of this maintenance.


As always, we ask owners and parents to be vigilant at these play areas and to report any suspicious activity to the police as well as HOA. If you or your children/guests happen to see anyone vandalizing these play areas in the future, please contact CMG immediately, as these repairs are very costly to the Association and greatly devalue this wonderful amenity.

2012 Assessment Payment Options

Just as a reminder, you can pay your assessment in several ways: 1) Detach the bottom portion of your statement and mail your payment to the bank’s lockbox at Post Office Box 912, Columbia, SC 29202; 2) Go online to www.cmgcharleston.com and select “online payments.” You will need your account number noted on your statement for this option if you have not already setup your account. Please keep in mind that payments made online on Saturday or Sunday or after 5pm will reflect on the following business day; or 3) Download the form from our website and set-up ACH for automatic draft of your assessment. Please remember that if you have your payments set up on ACH through Community Management Group, you need to be aware that any outstanding balance will be debited from your account.

2012 Assessment

Your Board of Directors recently met and approved your operating budget for 2012. Just as last year, your assessment will be billed semi-annually in January and July. The 2012 annual assessment has been set at $365.00 for the year. You will be billed $182.50 in January and $182.50 in July. Please remember that all assessments are due by the first (1st) of the month and considered late after the thirtieth (30th) of the month.

Clubhouse Refrigerator Repairs

We wanted to report to you that the compressor on the refrigerator in the Clubhouse was blown recently and requires replacement. As a result, the freezer portion of the fridge is unable to get cool. We are working to rectify this matter as soon as possible and hope to have all repairs completed before the end of the month. In the meantime, we truly appreciate your patience and understanding regarding this matter.
